UK Vaping Products Duty (VPD)
From 1st October 2026, HM Revenue & Customs is introducing the nationwide Vaping Products Duty (VPD).
The new framework applies a flat excise duty of £2.20 per 10ml of vaping liquid, whether it contains nicotine or not. Because standard 20% VAT applies on top of the duty, the retail cost impact adds £2.64 per 10ml to duty-paid liquids.
Existing eligible stock can continue to be sold during the Government's transition period (sell-through of existing pre-October stock is permitted until 1 April).

Three Power Levels, One Button
Double-click the fire button and the Xlim 4 moves between three power settings, from a gentle, flavour-forward draw right up to its 30W maximum. The pod stays where it is and you simply change how strong the vape feels — there are no menus to scroll through and no wattage screen to squint at. The side airflow works the same way: open it up for a looser, cloudier restricted-direct-lung inhale, or close it down for a tight mouth-to-lung draw that suits nic salts.
Longer Between Charges
The 1600mAh battery is the standout figure on this kit, and 5V/2A USB-C charging means top-ups are quick when you do need one. A ring light wraps around the body and shows your power level, battery status and vaping effects at a glance, so you know exactly where you stand before you take a puff. At 78.1g and 121 × 26.2 × 15.2mm, it slips into a pocket without a second thought.
Refills Without the Fuss
The kit arrives with the XLIM Top Fill cartridge in a 0.8Ω build — a good middle ground that works for both mouth-to-lung and restricted-direct-lung vaping. Because it fills from the top, you can top up without removing the pod, which keeps refills clean and quick. The cartridge uses OXVA's UNITECH 3.0 technology and is designed to prime in around 30 seconds. If you want to change the feel, the Xlim 4 takes the full range of XLIM Top Fill cartridges in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω, including the XLIM Pro Top Fill pods sold on their own.
Made to Live With
The zinc alloy shell is finished with IML and PU detailing, and the device comes in ten finishes — from Black Carbon through to Aurora Petal Purple. It works with nic salts and freebase e-liquids, so you can keep using whatever you already vape.
